"Let Go and Let God"

In John 6:40 Jesus declared, "For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." Overcome your fears and let God through the Holy Spirit mold you and rule your life. Be happy as you trust in Jesus, follow his teachings and God will bless your life abundantly. And in 1 Corinthians 5:16-17, the Holy Spirit in Saint Paul tells us, “Be joyful always, pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

In John 8:12, Jesus spoke again to the people saying, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life." Make a difference in this world by helping others know Jesus in you and see the light ... Let your light shine brightly now!

And in Matthew 6:33, Jesus said, " Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you." Live with true peace, see and feel the blessings and fulfillment that come upon your life when you do what is good for others as compared when you judge and cause pain in others which can bring so much stress, conflict and even illness in your life."

To Our Youth and The Weary, "Hope and Trust in God and Be Generous"

Herewith is a related inspirational message from the letter of St. Paul to the young Timothy (1Timothy 6:17-19), which states, “Command those who are rich in the present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.”

Prayers Can Move Mountains

Send your petitions and prayer intentions via email (edwinoelt@yahoo.com, rest assured of utmost confidentiality, basically, only names concerned will be placed in 3 categories:  our beloved deceased; for physical, emotional and spiritual healing; and for other prayer intentions) we will pray that in Jesus' name, all these will be addressed and answered in God's time and in God's way through Jesus, His Son. We thank the Franciscan Friars, TOR, of Loretto PA, who are helping us pray in this ministry as we pass all your email petitions to them.  God's will be done as we KJOH (Keep Jesus in our Hearts).

And this page being devoted to prayer, may we treat all in it in respect and confidence of one another.

As in Matthew 18:20, Jesus said, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

“I and the father are one”. In John 14: 11-14 Jesus added, “Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me… I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even GREATER THINGS than these, because I am going to the Father. And I WILL DO WHATEVER YOU ASK IN MY NAME, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”

DIVINE WISDOM, nevertheless, makes us understand the true meaning of above shared verse.  Let us not be misled by our own interpretation based on our own human intelligence and limited understanding of God's words.  Through prayer, invoking the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we are better guided to understand NOT WITH OUR PRIDE OR MALICE in our hearts, but with humility and obedience to God, where 'GOD'S WILL IN US COMES ULTIMATE AND FINAL' deserving all the respect, honor and glory of His Almighty Name, 'NOT OUR WILL BE DONE,' for whenever and however He may answer us in our prayers, He continues to TEST OUR FAITH and OBEDIENCE TO HIM as in the book of Job, that in our PATIENCE and PERSEVERANCE IN OUR FAITH, we may see us and our family MUCH BLESSED IN SPIRIT that is GREATER THAN WHAT WE MAY NEED MATERIALLY IN THIS WORLD for as WE MAY SEEK RIGHTEOUSNESS ALL OTHER BLESSINGS MAY COME, a POWERFUL MESSAGE and PROMISE of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE that HE WANTS US TO REPLICATE IN US IN OUR LOVE OF OTHERS, all these in MANY WAYS JUSTIFIED as they are TRUTHFUL, NOBLE and ETERNAL.

Before sending your emailed petitions, everybody is invited to "pray to God for the cleansing of our body and spirit as we:  ask forgiveness for our sins, that the Holy Spirit may come upon us, that anything evil may depart from us, that we may be renewed with God in Jesus through His great love and mercy on us. With our faith in Jesus and through our good works we may glorify God's Almighty Name.  We know and we believe, that our prayers will be answered, in His own time, and in His own way.  We believe that only God knows what is best for us, as we surrender and lift up to Him all our failures, disappointments, trials, mourning and grief, as well as our joys, happiness and blessings in this life.  In the same way that we also lift up to our dear Lord God all petitions sent forth through this ministry that we are cleansed in both body and spirit from all burden derived from our prayers and petitions, offering all these at the foot of the cross of our beloved Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, cleansed by His blood in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen."

As we keep on praying for our dearly departed, that "they will be like angels in heaven."  And angels help in guiding and protecting us through our Lord Jesus Christ.  As in Matthew 22:30, Jesus said to the Sadducces who questioned him on marriage and resurrection, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage, they will be like the angels in heaven. But about the resurrection of the dead – have you not read what God said to you? I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”  Let us remember of the consciousness of the spirit even when we die in Christ.  In Christ, living in FAITH and with GOOD DEEDS, may we continue to be blessed with  a LIFE that is ETERNAL with GOD, that even after death, with the forgiveness of our sins, we may LIVE FOREVER because we BELIEVE and STRIVE TO BE PERFECT in CHRIST.

In John 15:7,  Jesus said, “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”

And in Matthew 10:28, Jesus said that it is he (God) who is "able to destroy both soul and body in hell" who must be feared. In other words, as long as we may abide in Jesus and ask in all sincerity as he may listen to us in the forgiveness of our sins, and so for our deceased relatives, we may be able to save them from the fires of hell through our prayers in earnest - for "with God all things are possible," as in Matthew 19:26 -as both body and soul or spirit may live even after death, unless God so decides to destroy them in hell.

Herein posting general prayer petitions with names on comments section each month for our prayer community to be praying for, together with our prayer partners, the Franciscan Friars, TOR, and with you, our dear readers, if you so opt to pray as well to receive appropriate indulgences, grace and blessings from the Lord.

As in Matthew 22:37-40, Jesus said to the doubting Pharisees on the question of what is the greatest commandment, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law of the Prophets hung on these two commandments.”

And in 1Corinthians 13:8-13, The Holy Spirit in Saint Paul concludes his powerful definition of love, “Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled, where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

Praying for divine enlightenment is our fervent goal, that the love of Jesus through the Holy Spirit may guide our hearts towards peace and unity among all Christian faithfuls as one bread and one body in Christ, and as we WELCOME and INVITE NON-CHRISTIANS with open arms, not only with Christ's love, but with His divine mercy and forgiveness as well, because JESUS LOVES ALL OF MANKIND, "THROUGH HIM ALL THINGS WERE MADE" as in John 1:3.

And may humility and obedience to God, with the power of the Holy Spirit, through the love of Christ Jesus in others and for others, keep our hearts on fire as we pray to be guided to see the "Truth, the Way and the Life" in Jesus (John 14:6).  May we continue to thank Him for all answered prayers and for all the blessings we have received and continue to receive in his Holy Name, all these we ask in the holy and mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
