"Let Go and Let God"

In John 6:40 Jesus declared, "For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." Overcome your fears and let God through the Holy Spirit mold you and rule your life. Be happy as you trust in Jesus, follow his teachings and God will bless your life abundantly. And in 1 Corinthians 5:16-17, the Holy Spirit in Saint Paul tells us, “Be joyful always, pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

In John 8:12, Jesus spoke again to the people saying, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life." Make a difference in this world by helping others know Jesus in you and see the light ... Let your light shine brightly now!

And in Matthew 6:33, Jesus said, " Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you." Live with true peace, see and feel the blessings and fulfillment that come upon your life when you do what is good for others as compared when you judge and cause pain in others which can bring so much stress, conflict and even illness in your life."

To Our Youth and The Weary, "Hope and Trust in God and Be Generous"

Herewith is a related inspirational message from the letter of St. Paul to the young Timothy (1Timothy 6:17-19), which states, “Command those who are rich in the present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.”

What a 7 Year Old Can Do - Do Not Immitate

Here's another amazing video this time featuring a 7 year old boy chased by police for driving a car. And would you believe, He admitted he was drunk?

We suggest guidance from parents for kids and minors before watching this video.

Wow, for all of you minors and young kids, you better learn from this one. And see why you should not imitate him.

This may be funny but it's better to see the message behind this eye opener especially for parents with kids who can make a good resource of this video as they guide them to 'love and obedience' through Christ Jesus, before it's too late.

You may want to read our related post on 'Teaching Children About Love and Obedience," for further guidance.

Bishop's Death in Turkey a Call to Christian Unity - Commentary for Peace and Freedom of Religion

The June 3 (2010) murder of Bishop Luigi Padovese, the president of the Bishop's Conference of Turkey, is an eye opener for all Catholics and Christians around the world.

It is an opportunity to share Christ's teachings to our Muslim brothers while we question the murder of Bishop Padovese in Turkey.  As we pray for the reposal of his soul, this martyred leader of the Catholic Church in Turkey is a shining example of the fearless stance a true Christian can offer, even his life, in the propagation of his faith.  As St. John states in his letter to the Philippians, "For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain."  Let not our emotions rule over us, rather, let Christ's words guide us in our actions and reactions or counteractions.

As we have seen in many Christian countries worldwide, there have been mosques built freely for Christians respect the freedom to exercise one's religion and in Christ's teachings, "love you neighbor as yourself."  Is it not proper that Christianity, in the same way, be freely practiced in a Muslim country?

In 1 John 4:13-16, he proclaims through the divine guidance of the Holy Spirit who Christ Jesus is, “We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.”

And in John 15:12, Jesus made clear his commandment of love, “… Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.”
