"Let Go and Let God"

In John 6:40 Jesus declared, "For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." Overcome your fears and let God through the Holy Spirit mold you and rule your life. Be happy as you trust in Jesus, follow his teachings and God will bless your life abundantly. And in 1 Corinthians 5:16-17, the Holy Spirit in Saint Paul tells us, “Be joyful always, pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

In John 8:12, Jesus spoke again to the people saying, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life." Make a difference in this world by helping others know Jesus in you and see the light ... Let your light shine brightly now!

And in Matthew 6:33, Jesus said, " Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you." Live with true peace, see and feel the blessings and fulfillment that come upon your life when you do what is good for others as compared when you judge and cause pain in others which can bring so much stress, conflict and even illness in your life."

To Our Youth and The Weary, "Hope and Trust in God and Be Generous"

Herewith is a related inspirational message from the letter of St. Paul to the young Timothy (1Timothy 6:17-19), which states, “Command those who are rich in the present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.”

The Coolest Wedding Dance. | Funniest Stuff on the Net!, Love in Christ, Forever Marriage and Annulment

This entertaining video was brought to you by our Funniest Stuff link...
The Coolest Wedding Dance. | Funniest Stuff on the Net!

A great dancing couple, do you agree?  They appear to be trained dancers with their well coordinated moves.

I just wonder, the supposed bride is not wearing a more appropriate wedding dress, unless they were married in a civil court?

Whether or not this was scripted for funniest stuff, it is still cool and an awesome entertainment for everybody.

Sharing What You Do Best

Will it not be great if married couples can offer some quality time to do the same for their guests?

This can be very entertaining for anyone, and see the appreciation that follows, lol.

Sharing your God given talents can make life more meaningful especially when shared with others.

For a more memorable wedding reception after church ceremonies, it is probably one of the best ways for a newly married couple to show their love for each other jump starting their celebration with a fitting dance number in complete harmony with one another as you have been married as one body and one spirit with God in the holy sacrament of matrimony.

Just make sure you can dance with both feet, or you can forget the whole thing, lol.

No, don't give up, you can do other things you do best and show them as early, you are ready to face the challenges of a married couple, 'for better or for worse, for richer for poorer and ‘til death do (you) part,' as you dedicate your efforts for others, that is, your family and friends right there supporting you.

You may want to sing your favorite song doing a duet, a poem that will inspire your marriage, a verse or a biblical message or a parable that will keep you holding on together no matter what and at whatever cost.

Marriage as ‘Forever’ and Annulment

And in the Catholic faith, however, marriage is forever and divorce is taboo. "Being one in body and spirit with God," let no man separate it, unless it has been void or proven to be invalid from the beginning to which an annulment may be filed which can take up to 16 months to process for a possible approval by the diocesan Tribunal.

In Matthew 19:5-6, Jesus said to the Pharisees on the question of man divorcing his wife, “Haven’t you read, at the beginning the Creator made them male and female, and said, ‘for this reason a man will leave his father and mother and will be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two but one. Therefore, what God has joined together, let man not separate.”

When one or both parties may have entered the marriage in good will, but with lack of openness, honesty, maturity, full freedom of choice, the right motivation, emotional stability, or capacity to establish a community of life and love with another person, this may open up the doors to a possible annulment case for the Tribunal to decide.

On the question of the necessity of a 'pre-nuptial agreement' in marriage, I am personally against this as it undermines the sacredness of marriage and reduces it to material considerations and negates the vow of oneness in love even in financial or economic difficulties brought about by certain situations beyond the control of each spouse.  This, for me, in the true test of the greater love that each spouse has on each other, that no material element or issue may break this sacred bond together, and that while death may separate each one from the other, their oneness may be cherished together even beyond this life, as they become one with God having lived in God, and ready for life eternal.

As in Matthew 4:4, Jesus said that 'man cannot live by bread alone but by the words from the mouth of God,' the more we should become stronger as we are guided by God's words, more than we may be lured to the bondage of sin whence we may be subject to the wrath of God as in Romans 12:19, compromising that elusive goal to eternal bliss.

Every person has the right to ask the Church to examine a previous marriage and see if it was a valid marriage or not, taking into consideration the presence or the lack of a freely chosen commitment between two mature, knowledgeable and capable adults to enter a covenant of love in a community for life, with priority to spouse and children.

Remarriage After Annulment

In the end, saving the marriage would be the other object of the church as much as it can and it will welcomes any couple who had a previous annulment of their marriage as they so decide to remarry.

Some may end up doing this, though rare as it may seem, if they stay unmarried in the Catholic Church with a different spouse, as they come back to terms and often find themselves in a more fruitful and a stronger relationship after a ‘temporary separation.’

Yes, that's right, why did they ever decide to seek annulment in the first place?

God moves in mysterious ways.

Anyone in the Spirit, can always seek guidance and enlightenment in the Holy Spirit.  And before you make a drastic decision to change your life through annulment, pray, and pray hard.

Humble yourselves before the Lord and empty yourselves of your pride and arrogance, selfishness or deceit, temper and childishness, hatred, boredom and impatience, sins of lust, excessive vanity and materialism and instead find true peace, love, mercy and forgiveness in the words of God through His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, and everything will be alright as you keep him in the center of your life.

Your love for your children, whether legitimate or adopted , may help keep your love for each other burning and shining.

Even if you have no children, you have each other and the whole world to love.  When you are in the love of Christ, your love will flourish as you continue to give thanks and pray, and will grow abundantly in Christ as your marriage will be blessed.

There have been amazing instances of childless couples being gifted by the Lord with a child.  Sarah, the supposed old and barren wife of Abraham, still gave birth to a gifted and blessed child in Isaac because of God's love for Abraham.

Remember, "with God, all things are possible"  (Matthew 19:26).

And in Proverbs 37:4, “Delight yourself with the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.”

And those who so decide to remarry after their marriage has been annulled, nevertheless, requires the help of their parish priest or the assigned parish office staff member for this purpose.

If you heard of and believe in the saying, “Love comes out lovelier, ‘the second time around,’” then you know what I mean.

[Read on our related post:  "'Love' by Saint Paul, Love of God and Self-Pity" which, for me, is the best definition of true and pure love in Christ.]

Seek God’s Guidance in Christ

As I have mentioned earlier, before any couple decides on a divorce or an annulment, please pray and take away pride and arrogance in the relationship as it is living in God’s spirit that we should be guided, speaking with love and in truth, with humility and forgiveness for a more peaceful and harmonious family life.

In 1 Corinthians 7:2-7, St. Paul says on marriage, “But since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband. The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise, the wife to her husband. The wife’s body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husband’s body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife. Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. I say this as a concession, not as a command. I wish that all men were as I am. But each man has his own gift from God. One has this gift and another one has that.”

Perhaps, men are normally prone to long for sexual pleasure that is why the Holy Spirit in St. Paul, as a concession, admonishes husband and wife not to deprive one another from this bodily pleasure to free them from evil and from further temptation of the flesh.

Expressing a deeper understanding of 'unconditional love' for each other makes the body and spirit one with God as they selflessly offer their love for each other in true passion and grace.

In this way, the love of God in you is consummated.

And alas, how wonderful and beautiful this feeling can be as you are doing this not only to show your deep love for each other, but because of your deep love for God our Almighty Father and Creator.

And what greater gift can God give you than rewarding you with heavenly happiness out of your faithfulness in Him and being one in Christ, His Son, as you express your selfless and unconditional love for each other in this human endearment in total surrender and sacrifice, as this has become 'God's will for you in Christ Jesus.'

And what could be a more fitting gesture of His love for you as He grants you a child, one of the greatest gifts and treasures that one can have in Christ.

In 1 Thessalonians 5:6-17, Saint Paul, after he admonished everyone to live in peace with each other, to encourage the timid to help the weak, to be patient with everyone, nobody to pay wrong for wrong and to always be kind to each other and to everyone else, he said, “Be joyful always, pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Pray that married couples do not deprive one another of being expressive and passionate of their love for each other by retaliation for unmet expectations or needs as this is in itself a sin of pride and selfishness, rather, surrender and submit to each other as both their body and spirit belong to one another, having been blessed as one with God through the Holy Spirit in the Holy Sacrament of Matrimony.

Otherwise, they may just be inviting the evil one to get into their weakest link and succumb to sins of lust and materialism, whence, they become unwise instruments of evil than being sacred instruments of God’s plan to keep their marriage and family life eternally blessed.

I feel and believe that each wedded couple surrenders practically everything in this life to each other during their marriage, and their vows of unconditional love, care, humility and total commitment to one another in a sacred covenant with God should further bind them together in love.

To selflessly and continuously pursue this goal is but honorable and sublime… and let no one put this asunder.

If one falters and falls to sin, let true love with humility, mercy and forgiveness reign as against pride and selfishness with that willingness to renew one self and accept each other again, as God has been loving, merciful and forgiving in Christ, and finds happiness in seeing all his lambs and children happy being one with him, and becoming ever faithful and obedient to God's will.

And remember, we cannot hide his anything from God as He sees everything.

For all those who continue sin and stay astray, they 'will repay' and repay they will.

In Romans 12:17-21, Saint Paul in Christ writes, "Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eye of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘it is mine to avenge, I wrill repay,’ says the Lord. On the contrary:

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him,
If he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”

"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”

God cares about what we do to our bodies and self abuse is being discouraged as in John 31:1-3, “I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a girl. For what is man’s lot from God above, his heritage from the Almighty on high? Is it not ruin for the wicked, disaster for those who do wrong?”

In Matthew 5:28, Jesus exhorts the crowd against adultery, “But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

In 1 Corinthians 10:13, St. Paul writes, “No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful, he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.”

We always pray for enlightenment with great self control and discipline that should help us in our fight against evil and slavery from sin that we may always keep our hearts and spirit pure in every way, as we prepare to meet our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, someday, in his coming.

And would it not be a blessing to see our children grow with much love and joy in God’s guidance that they too may be blessed with a happy family in the next generation?

We do not want material things, the evil one or ‘Mammon’ to rule our life would we?

God wants us to be the master of material things while we give thanks and glorify His Holy Name in all these, and not to become a slave of anything material.

Remember, all these that we have on earth are all temporary.  We cannot bring any of them when we die can we?

As such, God is watching us.

Being ever faithful to our marriage vows and to our covenant with Him through Christ Jesus in this life as we keep and obey his commandments for the love of God and of our neighbors, we are bound to enjoy heavenly happiness and peace as early as in this life, and a much better extension awaits us leading to life eternal.

Being one with God in Christ makes our marriage and family life truly blessed as our faith and good works make us whole with God, and this makes our relationship wonderful and magical as it is meant to be  .... with Christ, it is forever.

And as always, KJOH (Keeping Jesus in our hearts) can make our marriage relationship even better, do you agree?

The Wonder in Sharing - Commentary on Mark Zuckerburger Interview

As a prelude to our above featured video link on time.com, it may interest you to note that Mark Zuckerburg was born with a dentist dad and a psychiatrist for a mom, although she preferred to assist her husband in his dental clinic, and perhaps, to spend more time with the growing Mark.

Mark is now the youngest billionaire in the world as facebook CEO and people are just amazed how this wonder kid did it fast big time.

If you believe in the great role the parents have in keeping their children smart from conception to adulthood and in taking a positive outlook in life with that willingness to share with others, then, you may be in the right path of helping grow another wonder kid.

Pinoy Blogger (PB) believes that the love that we can share in this world goes back to us in multiple blessings.

Life may not be easy as trials, criticisms and temptations abound.

And it may not only be sheer determination, guts, will power and resilience that make everything move the way they do in this world, rather, it is faith in God Almighty through His Son Jesus that puts more fuel and power into any worthy endeavor, praising and thanking God and giving credit to whom it is due, that our good Lord may be glorified.

It does not matter how high your aspirations may be, just keep your expectations low and never wane in your trust in Jesus, for it is in your moments of failure that you must stay strong, calm and composed for he is with you, never to be carried away by your emotions.

And he knows what is best for you. If it is not for you it will not be for you. Whatever the outcome, win or lose, you stay a winner with him.

And you will be amazed what greater plans he has for you and for all of us who believe in him.

Not until we see and understand things this way, we may not be able see our dreams to last as we see ourselves stumble and fall many times in our life and just believing in ourselves devoid of love, compassion, charity, mercy and forgiveness for others may not be wise.

Let us learn from the examples in history where men of high stature fail because of their uncaring stance for others.

In the end we know that those who have been unjust and persecuted others will fall into the pit of darkness as they themselves cannot see peace within their spirit as we see in them a proud, arrogant, selfish and an unforgiving spirit.

Jesus reminds us not to lose our soul by clinging to what is worldly or evil. In Matthew 16:25-26, he tells his disciples, “For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?”

And further in Matthew 5:3-10, Jesus Christ said in sharing the 8 Beatitudes,

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are the those who mourn for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called the sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness for theirs is the
kingdom of God.”

With God on our side, our complete trust and faith in Him will lead us through.

Whatever and whoever you may be and the rest of the world will see your dreams through even beyond your lifetime, if only you trust, believe and follow his words of love in truth and justice.

As Jesus Christ has said to his disciples in Matthew 24:35 with reference to his teachings, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”

God’s awesome works in God’s awesome creation and the Messiah in Jesus - Commentary on High-Speed Captures - a gallery on Flickr

God's Awesome Creation

High-Speed Captures - a gallery on Flickr

See these great high speed capture photos on our link above.

Out of God's creation comes out man's creativity and ingenuity.  And with man's talents and prowess is the affirmation of Our Almighty God's grandeur as He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.

Do not all of what you have seen in our link show God's awesome power in His foremost creation which is man supported by nature, God’s other complementing creation?

Without God, how can all these happen? Clearly, man cannot do all these alone.

Go beyond physics and science, and open your heart and spirit, you will see and understand what I mean (watch interesting videos and web links along highlighted phrases).

If you dig deeper into the Holy Bible and seek its true meaning, it all spells one thing, that there is only one God who has created us all, gave us His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to save us all from our sins and lead us to life eternal.  And in John 4:24, Jesus declared, “God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.”

Consider the following truths:

[Watch this very inspiring video on a great huge work of art,  'Resurrection of Jesus Christ' painting by Ron DiCianni which will soon be seen at the Dallas Musem - thanks to Eydie Randolph for the email update]

The Messiah in Jesus

It is no wonder that despite the wondrous miracles that Jesus had done in the latter part of his life, many people were still not convinced that he was the Messiah as prophesied by the prophets.  They even condemned him to die crucified along with two thieves.

Does this not manifest that evil is in our midst and it all started in the Garden of Eden, when, Satan was successful in alluring Adam and Eve to disobey God by eating of the forbidden fruit?

And now with Christ's passion and death on the cross, his glorious resurrection and ascension into heaven, he has empowered us to defy evil and not be lured to his evil ways if we only trust and fully believe in him.

In Philippians 1:21, Saint Paul writes as he rejoices in God’s words and in his overwhelming faith and love in Jesus, “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”

Further, in Philippians 2:3-16, Saint Paul and Timothy, by the Grace of God and through the Holy Spirit reveals the need to live and love for others, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus."

In Romans 8:31, St. Paul writes in assurance, "If God is for us, who can be against us?”

And if you read the Holy Bible, the Old Testament is all about the covenant of God and man about the coming of God's Only Begotten Son to save us from the original sin, that of Adam and Eve, and the New Testament is the fulfillment of God's greatest gift to man, His Son Jesus, our Lord and Savior who is the Lord or Lords and the King of Kings.

Jesus is the "Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world." There is redemption at the moment we start to believe in him and follow him as the true Messiah whom God has sent to save our souls and lead us to life everlasting, as he has shown in his life and has proclaimed his power over life and death.

The Divinity of Christ

In Luke 2:13-20, upon the birth of the baby Jesus, the angel of the Lord with a great company of heavenly host said to the shepherds living out in the nearby fields, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on who his favor rests,” and they all went to Bethlehem to see the child as both Mary and Joseph were amazed how the shepherds learned all this through an angel of the Lord. “And they returned glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen.”

When Jesus discreetly took three of his trusted apostles, Peter, James and his brother John to a high mountain, he was suddenly transfigured into divine form seen with his face shone like the sun in his white shining clothes talking to Moses and Elijah, who appeared out of nowhere in glorious splendor.

The Transfiguration was the second time that God's voice acknowledged to glorify his Son, the first time was during Jesus' baptism through the Holy Spirit with John the Baptist at the River Jordan, in Matthew 3:16-17, “At that moment, heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, ‘This is my Son, whom I love, with him I am well pleased.’”

Jesus, Moses and Elijah were overheard by the three of Christ's apostles discussing God’s plan for redemption with Jesus’ impending death on the cross. Peter said to him in his excitement of what they saw, as stated in Luke 9:33-36, “Master, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters – one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.”

Then a voice came from the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to him.” When the voice had spoken, they found that Jesus was alone.

And Jesus told them not to tell anyone of what they saw “not until the Son of Man is risen from the dead”.

Three apostles witnessed the transfiguration that their succeeding account of what they saw would be believed and to strengthen the hearts of the disciples whose concept of the crucifixion of Christ was one of denial.

That they not stand the way of Jesus’ fulfilling heaven’s plan to redeem man through his death, resurrection and ascension. And that we may learn to carry our own cross, deny ourselves by being humble and selfless in our efforts to lead others to him in this life that they too may see God’s promise of eternal life (read Luke 9:22-23).

From the Acts of the Apostles, 10:33-38, “Peter proceeded to speak to those gathered in the house of Cornelius, saying: ‘In truth, I see that God shows no partiality. Rather, in very nation whoever fears him and acts uprightly is acceptable to him. You know the word that he sent to the Israelites as he proclaimed peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all, what has happened all over Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached, how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power. He went about doing and healing all those oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.’”

“I and the father are one”. In John 14: 11-14 Jesus added, “Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me… I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”

Only Jesus can claim this and he alone has claimed it with conviction.  His overwhelming power over evil has countless times seen manifest on earth through his followers and former non-believers, who now enjoy the gift of faith and the fruits of God's love in Jesus.

In John 6:53-58, Jesus said to the crowd while teaching in the synagogue with some grumbling and unbelieving Jews around him:

“I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your forefathers ate manna and dies, but he who feeds on this bread will live forever.”

In the Holy Sacrament of the Mass, through the consecration of the Holy Eucharist, Catholic Christian faithfuls humble themselves before the Lord Jesus Christ with a cleansed soul as they partake in his body and blood through the bread and wine that was offered.

With this sacrament, the covenant of God in us through Jesus is further strengthened, our faith, belief and witnessing in him as part of his flock renewed.

What greater joy can be felt than to welcome once again God's spirit with the body and blood of Jesus in your heart flowing through your veins revitalized, energized and healed in the Holy Spirit?

Nonetheless, we need to follow this up with works and good deeds.  Let us be guided in James 2:26, as he said, “As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.”

Even before the world was made, God had already chosen us to be his through our union with Christ, as in Ephesians 1:4 (echoed from similar messages in Isaiah 49:16 and Jeremiah 1:5). And those who believe and do what God teaches will be blessed.

Still, we should not lose heart but try to win the unbelievers that they too may see the light and be healed. As Jesus has said to his apostles (Matthew 13:14-15), “In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah,

“You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving; For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.”

Jesus encourages us to spread his words and teaching, as in Matthew 28:19-20, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Healing in Jesus

Have you ever noticed how our health is affected once we get carried away negatively by our emotions and reactions?

But the more we practice Christ's teachings of love, hope, faith, humility, mercy and forgiveness, the more we gain inner peace and happiness?  And through this, as we are cleansed by the Holy Spirit, do we not heal faster and even help our love ones heal faster too?

[Read on:  Goodbye to Heart Disease?  See How, and Nitric Oxide]

Is this not the message that God wants to relay to each and everyone of us, to have faith in Him and in Christ's teachings that we can better enjoy this life on earth and to prepare ourselves for life eternal?

From the Book of Ezekiel 18:3-32, it is written, “Therefore, O house of Israel, I will judge you, each one according to his ways, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent! Turn away from your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall. Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit. Why will you die, O house of Israel? For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live!”

Now, more than ever, not only Hebrews, but all people of all other faith and religion who wish to know more about Jesus the True Messiah and the Son of God, you are herein enjoined and invited to pray for further guidance and enlightenment through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the true Redeemer, as we open our spirit and welcome him in our hearts, then see and share the light in this site or click on RCIA (You can email me via edwinoelt@yahoo.com).

Why do we have to harden our hearts and deny Christ in God when we all will one day die and be humbled like the soil of the earth, stepped on and trampled by others and feasted on by nature, and nothing, yes nothing, will we be able to bring with us except our souls and our past which will be the basis on the Day of Judgment?

Why not rather live in truth and in love, and by following Christ's words, we may have true peace and happiness that we can share with others, for the love of man, and for the love of God in Christ Jesus?  Whence, we may one day enjoy the fruits of our love in God's Kingdom onto eternal life.

In Psalm 95:8-11, it states, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah (means quarreling), as you did that day at Massah (means testing) in the desert, where your fathers tested and tried me, though they had seen what I did. For forty years I was angry with that generation. I said, “They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known my ways.” So I declared an oath in my anger, “They shall never enter my rest.”

Prayer to Welcome Jesus in Our Hearts

"Grant that I may know you dear God through Jesus, your Son, as I open my heart and spirit to you.  Fill me up with your love that your Holy Spirit may come upon me with your power, care, protection, kindness, mercy and forgiveness that with you I may be cleansed from anything evil or unworthy of your presence, and that with you I may be healed, learn to forgive and be renewed that I may see and share your love and your light with others and that I may have peace in myself.  Amen."

... recite this prayer, as I so believe that prayers can move mountains, every morning when you wake up, anytime during the day and in the evening before you sleep, rest assured Jesus will reveal himself through the Holy Spirit in you.

Just look around you and see, and feel as you fully open and surrender your spirit to our Almighty God and Creator, and through His only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, you will feel oneness with him and with all of his creation.

Indeed, we have an awesome God in an awesome creation. Amen.

We do appreciate your thoughts and your comments.

Jury convicts Smart kidnapper, rejects insanity - Yahoo! News
It's appalling how people can be so weakened by lust that even pretentious preachers can be used by dark forces to commit major crimes such as kidnapping, prostitution, pedophilia and in some cases even murder under the disguise of insanity.

It took a courageous girl of 14, now 23, to expose this heinous crime after 8 long years of an agonizing wait since the abduction to the chagrin of the victim's family.

At long last, we see light at the end of the tunnel with this case about to close, seen to favor Elizabeth Smart and her family, after the estranged wife, Wanda Barzee, of the culprit, Brian David Mitchell, testified against the latter that 'he was a great deceiver.'

As in Matthew 7:15, 19-20, Jesus said while preaching to the crowd in Galilee with his disciples, “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly they are ferocious wolves… Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.”

Remember that God wants us to love in truth, in peace and justice that we may always see the light.

Let us be aware that anyone who goes beyond this is deceiving us a darker path.

In Matthew 6:24, Jesus also said, “No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Mammon (money/lust/power).”

Commentary on - Michael Jackson's Ghost on Live TV

(Fitting image for a spiritual mystery commentary)

If you believe in ghosts, you may want to see this video taken at Michael Jackson's house a week after his death.

Pinoy Blogger (PB) believes in the afterlife. Whether or not this video was faked is not what matters.

But PB has heard of people seeing ghosts of their loved ones a few days after their death.

And in NDE's or Near Death Experience, those clinically dead or brain dead related how they came out their body in spirit, and vividly seen and heard people in different rooms in the area and some even saw a bright light engulfing then with people whom they recognized as friends or relatives meeting them before being sent back to their body to resume their life on earth.

In the presence of doctors and scientists, these NDE's have proven the consciousness of the spirit even after death, the power of prayers for the living and the dead, and the power of God over His creation.

To date, PB has personally listened to three trusted friends and a religious witness to Jesus Christ's divine mercy prayer who have related their out of body experiences.  And all them now do not fear death as they had a glimpse of the afterlife.

As in the bible, the book Ecclesiastes reminds us that everything in life is meaningless, but not until we learn to understand the wisdom of God and strive to become mature in spirit that we learn to “fear God and keep His commandments, which is the duty of man,” (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14), whence, shall God “bring indeed every deed into judgment, including every hidden things, whether it is good or evil.”

And through Christ's teachings of love in truth, we may be guided towards the path to eternal life.

Commentary on - Ian Poulter gifts Tiger Woods with a new nickname: 'No. 2' - Devil Ball Golf - Golf  - Yahoo! Sports

Ian Poulter gifts Tiger Woods with a new nickname: 'No. 2' - Devil Ball Golf - Golf - Yahoo! Sports

Whether or not this comes as a mockery, Pinoy Blogger (PB) would rather face this as a challenge if he were Tiger Woods.

And there are a lot of things going on right now in the mind of Tiger woods, no doubt, after his infamous charades.

PB hopes and pray Tiger Woods goes back to God and see the fullness of His love, and for sure, he will regain back the charisma he once lost.

And everything good follows after... as in Matthew 6:33, Jesus tell his disciples, "... seek first His (God’s) kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

God moves in mysterious ways. He has ways in guiding you back to His flock and into His care.

The choice is ours to make, however, given our 'free will.' And in PB's life, he can only share the truth.

He has seen countless blessings, miracles and wondrous things that have unfolded before his very eyes that has proven God's magnificence and glory through His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ.

And it is in his spirit that he has welcomed Jesus to stay in his heart.

In John 4:24, Jesus declared, “God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.”

Belief in God goes beyond the body and beyond the mind. It is only with our spirit what we can better understand the truth, as it is then that we become one with Him, again.

Remember, we were one with Him before we ever existed here on earth. And when we were baptized, we became fully immersed with Him as one body and one spirit.

But because we are not ready we refuse to understand this truth. We submit ourselves to sin thinking that anything material is better in this life than living our faith, or than being guided and see the importance of thanking and glorifying God our Creator by being there for our neighbors.

Haven't you noticed how unhappy you still can be whenever you get stuck to material things, on lust or money?  How lost you can be and confused not knowing where to go?

That is when you are in a state of 'darkness.'

But once you go back to Him following His commandments and Christ's teachings of 'unconditional love,' you begin to see the 'light.'

In John 14:6(Holy Bible) Jesus said to His apostles, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”.

Further in John 3:16, Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

If you or Tiger Woods will follow and believe in this, PB guarantees you, you will find more fulfillment, peace, love and happiness in this life, greater than any material thing one can possess.

With Jesus, you will always be a winner.

As in Matthew 19:26, Jesus said to his apostles, “With God, all things are possible.”
