"Let Go and Let God"

In John 6:40 Jesus declared, "For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." Overcome your fears and let God through the Holy Spirit mold you and rule your life. Be happy as you trust in Jesus, follow his teachings and God will bless your life abundantly. And in 1 Corinthians 5:16-17, the Holy Spirit in Saint Paul tells us, “Be joyful always, pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

In John 8:12, Jesus spoke again to the people saying, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life." Make a difference in this world by helping others know Jesus in you and see the light ... Let your light shine brightly now!

And in Matthew 6:33, Jesus said, " Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you." Live with true peace, see and feel the blessings and fulfillment that come upon your life when you do what is good for others as compared when you judge and cause pain in others which can bring so much stress, conflict and even illness in your life."

To Our Youth and The Weary, "Hope and Trust in God and Be Generous"

Herewith is a related inspirational message from the letter of St. Paul to the young Timothy (1Timothy 6:17-19), which states, “Command those who are rich in the present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.”

Billionaires Urge the Rich - 'Donate Your Money'

Some famous billionaires in the US have urged the rich to donate their money to charity with the end in view of, perhaps, creating a bandwagon effect for this worthy cause.

If this would persuade more rich people globally, it could spell the beginning of a realization being one with God and in Christ's teachings of deep concern "for the poor".

We only live a short life here on earth and it is a noble duty for the rich to help our brethren who are in dire need of being rescued from severe poverty.  Nobody can bring ones wealth after death anyway.

And death comes like a thief in the night, it comes when we least expect it.  In Revelation (a message from Jesus Christ of his second coming made known to gospel writer, St. John, through an angel) 16:15, Christ's message is, "Behold, I come like a thief!  Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed."  We have to be ready and prepared when our time for reckoning comes.

And it is in Christ's teachings that states in Matthew 19:24, "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."  And further in the eight beatitudes Jesus tells his disciples, in Matthew 5:3, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

To follow Christ, we have to give up everything, as he told his disciples in Matthew 16:24-28, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.  For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.  What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?  Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?  For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done.  I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom."

With so many catastrophes happening worldwide in alarming succession causing death, destruction and hunger to many such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, terrorism and suicide bombings, hunger and the BP oil spill that not even man's advance "high-tech" know how can solve to date, it is appaling to see all these in this decade with the threat of global warming.  Do these not make us wonder and think that our awesome God must be sending us a message or signs that make us rethink of our very direction in life to veer us from material things that lead us to temptation, greed or lust and focus our efforts instead in promoting peace and love for others especially for the less fortunate in our "short God-given life" here on earth?
